The Comics Lounge presents the biggest and best Comedy Festival shows every week. 

Peter Helliar is a man of many talents. As a stand-up, a writer, a presenter and a producer Pete excels in everything her undertakes. Pete is a regular fixture on our TV screens, having co-hosted The Project on Network 10 from 2014 through to the end of 2022. He is also the host of Family Feud The Podcast produced for Apple, and he is also the host the very funny podcast You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet.

Enjoy an evening full of laughs with a curated mystery line-up of some of the best comedians performing at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Joined by a few of the most talented and impressive performers from last year’s comedy festival as well. This mystery showcase will include some of the biggest new rising stars in comedy, as well as some of your favourite comedians from television and radio. In this 2 hour live stand-up show, youll lose yourself in a night filled to the bursting with fun and humour!

If you are coming, just for show best to be at The Comics Lounge by 7.15pm for the 8pm show. We fill the venue from front to back as guests arrive. Show will finish around 10.30pm.

Andrea Jin 

Andrea Jin is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer born in Shanghai, currently based in Los Angeles.

She made her late night TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden October of 2022. She was selected as New Face at Just for Laugh’s Montreal Festival in 2021 and again as part of Patton Oswalts gala at Montreal the following year. She was also featured on Vultures Comedians You Should Know List of 2023 on The New York Times.

Andrea was a staff writer on Andy Sambergs show at Comedy Central (Digman!). She has performed at Moontower Comedy Festival, JFL Northwest, JFL Toronto, SiriusXM’s Top Comic, Seattle International Comedy Competition, CBC’s The Debaters, and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Her writing has been featured on Vice, Vulture, and CBC Comedy among other publications.
