New Material Nights brings together some of Melbourne’s best professional comedians as they test brand-new jokes, develop fresh ideas and work on material for their upcoming shows.

It’s a rare chance to see experienced comics in a more intimate setting, performing material you won’t hear anywhere else yet. Some of the jokes you see on the night could go on to become part of their next festival show, tour or special.
